Overview
In line with our growth strategy, AtkinsRéalis in the UK & Europe region, have an opportunity for an Assistant / Consultant Level Health & Safety Consultant within our London office. The opportunity will be supporting our successful London based Health and Safety consultant Team whilst developing your own career as a Health and Safety consultant in the construction industry.

Your role
- CDM Advisor services on a range of different sized projects
- Providing CDM and PD Advisory services to clients on a range of different sized projects
- General health and safety consultancy services to clients
- Health and safety support as part of bids, including supporting writing bid documents
- Supporting colleagues with health and safety expertise where required
- Developing existing and new clients as part of our 'win work' strategy
- Applying the principles of quality assurance and environmental management in compliance with the organisation's policies
Your Qualifications:
- Possess a NEBOSH National / Construction Certificate
- A member of APS, or working towards
- A Technician / Graduate level member of IOSH or IIRSM equivalent with a desire to work towards Chartered Status
- A relevant design or construction related qualification (preferred but not essential)

About you
- Experience and knowledge of applying the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 and general Health and Safety legislation and guidance
- Demonstratable knowledge of safety in design
- Experience of delivering Principal Designer and CDM Advisor services
- Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Sound understanding of the main Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to prepare / present emails and documents, demonstrating a good understanding of the written and spoken English language
- Competent report writing
- Flexible to travel across AtkinsRéalis client locations
- A valid driving license is essential and a car
