Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with local regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, risks, and non-compliance issues in the workplace.
• Provide advice and guidance to employees and management on HSE matters, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives, and recommend improvements as needed.
• Coordinate and participate in HSE training programs and workshops for employees to raise awareness and promote a culture of safety.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HSE activities, incidents, inspections, and training.
• Conduct incident investigations to determine root causes, prepare incident reports, and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Liaise with relevant authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
• Stay updated with new regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends in HSE, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Foster a positive HSE culture by promoting employee engagement, participation, and accountability in HSE initiatives.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma or certification on Safety related Qualification.
• 6+ years of experience in relevant field and Cleanroom/ Data Centre/ Industrial project experience is preferred.
• Experience of working on major projects / within large programme management offices (PMO’s).
• Ability to provide technical direction and creative vision to highly skilled teams.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in Safety, Regulation, Environmental, Health and Security.
• Passed the site safety supervisor examination managed by NIOSH or institution recognized by DOSH (JKKP), Green book or Yellow Book Holders.
