The Strategic Procurement Advisor will be responsible for managing a small and medium portfolio of IT contracts. To succeed in this role, you will need to stay organized, manage to prioritize different projects, pay attention to details and take full ownership of the tasks with a high sense of autonomy. You will ensure all Procurement activities are in compliance with the company policies and working procedures.
Please Note: This is a 6-12 month contractual opportunity.
How will you contribute to the team?
- Soliciting competitive quotations, prices, or tenders from potential suppliers.
- Receiving and evaluating bids.
- Preparing purchase recommendations.
- Review contractual terms and consult with procurement Managers/Legal if required.
- Initiate purchase orders and contracts through predetermined procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with procurement requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Understand, implement, and comply with the AtkinsRéalis policies and ensure the same within the supplier base and implement corrective actions when appropriate.
- Collaboration with internal/ external stakeholders to meet current needs and explore opportunities for mutual benefit and other potential innovation.
- Develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders that provides a stable foundation for future business opportunities.
What will you contribute?
- Demonstrated ability in standard procurement procedures and practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload and multi-task.
- Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision.
- Dedicated team player with well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed inter-personal and stakeholder-facing skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle), VMS system (SAP Ariba) and Service Now.
- Comprehension of contractual Terms and Conditions in conjunction with established procurement policies.
