Superintendent (Architecture)

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee architectural construction projects, ensuring design integrity and quality control
• Site based – Coordinate with Consultants e.g. architects, engineers, and Contractors to ensure project specifications and timelines are met
• Manage daily site operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance with safety regulations
• Participate in Constructability Review & Risk Management
• Manage change processes
• Ensure audit trial for all processes, submissions, review and approvals
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to design & construction
• Interpret technical designs, provide technical advice, and assist in resolving construction issues
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements related to architectural works
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and updates for stakeholders
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients and regulatory agencies
• Mentor and develop junior staff members, promoting a culture of safety and excellence

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture recognised by the Board of Architects Singapore, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural project management and site supervision
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building codes
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication, leadership, , process management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in architectural software and construction management tools
• Korean language proficiency would be an added advantage
• A team player with a positive working attitude and the ability to handle tight deadlines

• Accredited / Chartered Project Manager or Construction Manager from the likes of PMP, RICS would be an added advantage
• Any LEED or Green Mark experience
