This role will be based in Mississauga, ON.

Your role within the team:

• Monitor and report on project performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support cost control solutions to help meet project objectives and optimize overall project costs.
• Assist in preparing timely and accurate cost report updates at the end of each reporting period.
• Analyze actual data trends and assist in forecasting.
• Provide regular reports on project cost status and deviations and recommend remedial actions.
• Track and report on purchase order commitments.
• Assist in analyzing budget variances and recommend remedial actions.
• Ensure accurate and current monthly and weekly reporting, explaining and supporting variances.
• Contribute to client reporting.
• Assist in preparing project and business cash flow forecasts.
• Support the Project Control Managers in coordinating the change management process.
• Collaborate with other project controls staff to maintain an integrated cost-schedule project control system.
• Interface with planners on deliverables' progress to update estimates-to-complete.
• Present findings to team members as required.
• Collaborate with the Financial Shared Services Centre (FSSC) to review and issue client invoices.
• Perform special assignments, ad hoc reports, and other related duties as required.

The ideal candidate:

• University degree (Bachelors) in a relevant field.
• 0-2 years of experience in cost control or a related field.
• Ability to handle multiple requests and tasks.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access database.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
