To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for the electrical engineering & preparation of drawings and 3D-Modelling required for the execution of Industrial projects (Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Mission Critical projects – Data Centre) from concept design, FEED design and detailed design.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analysis of regulatory requirement and safety design as per standards.
• Prepare high quality engineering deliverables within agreed timeline.
• Responsible in preparing all drawings document below with the assist from Engineer as min.
  • Electrical single line diagram.
  • Electrical equipment and cable route Layout.
  • Electrical 3D modelling.
  • Electrical schematic diagram.
  • Electrical distribution panel diagram.
  • Electrical junction box and main cable routing.
  • Electrical hook up drawing.
  • Electrical installation details.
  • Electrical load list.
  • Electrical voltage drops calculation and cable list.
  • Electrical specification.
  • Lighting study.
  • Grounding and lighting study.
  • Electrical substation and High voltage incoming design.
  • Generator and UPS capacity design.
  • Short circuit study.
  • Extra low voltage design such as CCTV, Security, Door access and IT networks.

• Basis understanding in electrical design calculation, cable routing design, electrical and extra low voltage hook-up, Electrical mains switch board and distribution panel and schematic diagram drawing.
• Teamwork and able to support other discipline.
• Coordinate clash detection management with other discipline.
• Perform designs and drawings utilizing CAD.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master of  Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 6-10+ years’ experience in the Instrumentation engineering preferably in Industrial projects.
• Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia.
• Experienced in EPCM work environment.
• Experienced in tools and software such as Autocad, SP3D, PDMS, AVEVA E3D and Revit.
• Thorough Knowledge of Malaysia Code and local legislative regulations / International codes
• regulations. (IEC, NEMA,ISA).
• Added value in having past work experience in the multicultural team and hybrid environment.
• Experienced in site installation is added advantage.
• Good communication skills.
