Electrical Site Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead the execution of a 400/220 kV GIS Substation project under TAQA. The ideal candidate will oversee all electrical site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

What will you do?

• Manage and supervise all electrical construction activities on-site.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
• Ensure timely execution of electrical works including GIS installation, power transformers, control panels, cable laying, and testing & commissioning.
• Review electrical drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.
• Ensure compliance with TAQA standards and specifications.
• Lead site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure adherence to HSE regulations and quality standards.

Experience and Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 12 + years of experience in substation projects, with at least 7 years in 400/220 kV GIS substations.
• Proven experience working on TAQA / DEWA or similar utility projects in the GCC.
• Strong knowledge of IEC standards, protection systems, and SCADA integration.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• PMP certificate is a plus
