Electronic Document Management Technician

Your role within the team:

• Develop and implement Document Management framework to ensure compliance with the Governance system framework.
• Develop, implement and assess implementation of Document Management procedures and processes.
• Ensure Project documentation is received, tracked and monitored according to Document Management Plan and perform Quality and Compliance checks regularly.
• Collaborate in system improvements and rollouts.as well as provide support and training to Project team on document management.
• Undertake reporting and audits to ensure document management processes are well implemented and ensure data integrity.
• Onboard Project team and subcontractor to document management system.
• Ensure Client and other stakeholders are onboarded to the document management system and supported through the lifecycle of the project.

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum 2 to 4 years of document management experience and education in a related field.
• Good understanding of Engineering and Construction activities with respect to document management would be an asset.
• Experience in all areas of document management including: issue, creation, retrieval, retention and turnover, with advanced knowledge in Progressive Completion and handover process in an Alliance type of Contract.
• Proficient with Aconex and MS Office Suite – Procore would be an asset.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships in a team environment and manage multiple Subcontractor/Vendors deliverables within the EDMS.
