We are seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our Orlando, FL office.

AtkinsRéalis has the depth and breadth of expertise to respond to the most technically challenging and time-critical infrastructure projects and the urgent transition to a low-carbon economy.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Support senior scientists and project managers by assisting with environmental assessments, permitting, wildlife surveys, and compliance monitoring.
• Conduct fieldwork and data collection, including habitat evaluations, wetland delineations, and wildlife surveys & relocations.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings, ensuring accuracy of environmental documentation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure the environment is adequately considered into engineering and development projects.

What will you contribute?

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or natural sciences or related field (e.g., Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology).
• 3 years of experience. Preference for experience in the industry and/or having conducted field research.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team setting.
• Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite. Preference for GIS mapping experience.
• Desire to conduct field work, including wetland delineations and wildlife surveys.
