Overview

Your Role

As an Industrial Mechanical Engineer, you will:

• Determine specific project requirements, establish the scope of work, and identify steps and timelines for completion;
• Perform design and calculations related to project needs;
• Provide technical support to other project managers when required;
• May also be called upon to act as a project manager;
• Draft technical specifications and reports;
• Estimate project costs;
• Coordinate activities among various stakeholders;
• Provide technical assistance during construction work;
• Support the development of the team and its members.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering;
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the mechanical field;
• Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
• Solid knowledge of the industrial environment;
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license;
• Ability to lead mechanical projects (surface and/or underground).
