Intermediate Quantity Surveyor - MEP

Overview

AtkinsRealis are currently looking for experienced MEP Quantity Surveyors to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE.

Your role

• Preparation of cost plans, estimates, BOQs.

• Measurement, take-offs based on standard method of measurements.
• Collaborate with design team for cost studies, value engineering etc.
• Preparation of Tender documentation.
• Management of bonds, insurances and guarantee logs.
• Interim valuations and payment certificates.
• Assisting in variations analysis, recommendations and management.
• Assisting in risk and value management and cost control functions.
• Assisting in costs analysis project work.
• Assisting in preparation of progress/ cost reports.

About you

• Demonstrable track record in the successful delivery of pre and post contract MEP cost management services.
• Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical component parts of a project and overall construction costs.
• Must have Mixed-use development and Infrastructure experiences.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised University.
• Min 3 to 7 years’ experience in the Middle East.
• Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
