A Software developer with 5+ years within the Technology field whose primary function will be designing and implementing business applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to demonstrate the application design.

• Develop and implement data models using Microsoft Dataverse to support application requirements.

• Build custom applications using Power Apps, including canvas apps, model-driven apps and custom pages.

• Implement automation workflows using Power Automate to streamline and optimize business processes.

• Integrate automation with other Power Platform components and external systems.

• Customize and configure Power Platform components and environment to meet specific business needs

• Configure and manage security roles, groups, and permissions within the Power Apps environment.

• Implement auditing mechanisms within the Power Platform environment to track changes, access, and usage.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• In-depth understanding of Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.

• Strong knowledge of data modeling, relationships, and data management within Dataverse

• Understanding of Dataverse security models and role-based access controls

• Understanding of software development principles, including coding standards and version control.

• Proficient in developing custom applications using Power Apps, including both canvas and model-driven apps.

• Ability to build complex forms, screens, and user interfaces in Power Apps

• Skilled in creating and optimizing automation workflows with Power Automate, including integrating with various connectors and services.

• Ability to configure and manage security groups, roles, and permissions within the Power Platform.

• Skilled in setting up and managing audit trails to monitor application usage and data access.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, and provide updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 3-5 Years of Experience in developing applications and solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI

• 2+ Years of Experience working with Microsoft Dataverse, including designing and implementing data models and managing data within the platform

• 2+ Years of Experience in automating business processes using Power Automate, including complex workflows and integrations

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (Desirable)
