Based in Mississauga, Candu Field Services (CFS) is the Department within our OEM Services Division which is dedicated to supporting our customers’ operating plants, both with the supply of specialized tooling and with on-site services. Our primary business areas include Fuel Channel Inspection; Reactor, Fuel Channel & Feeder Maintenance; Heat Exchanger & Decontamination Services.  Additionally, we provide a variety of other site services including pressure boundary repair, site metrology and other testing and repair services.  CFS employs a team of field engineers and technologists over one-hundred strong and specialized in Nuclear Service technologies, all managed by approximately 10 Project and Technical Managers.

The JR Project Delivery Technician is responsible for providing support to project coordination activities in nuclear labs, shops, and field environments. This entry-level role involves supporting engineering, procurement, and construction execution with direct guidance and defined procedures.

Location – Mississauga, ON

Your role within the team:

• Prepare meeting minutes correspondence for internal and external stakeholders, including action tracking.
• Assist with document control activities, including organizing files, tracking document numbers, and uploading to project systems.
• Participate in field work, including setup of work areas, use of hand tools, and basic measurements under supervision.
• Track and update project logs and schedules with input from technical leads.
• Follow safety, quality, and radiation protection procedures as required.
• Basic understanding of project performance metrics (e.g., SPI/CPI) using standard tools and processes.
• These responsibilities ensure that the project coordinator maintains high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the process.

The ideal candidate:

• Diploma in the field of Engineering and/or Technology or Construction Technology or equivalent is an asset.
• Diploma in commerce or business will also be considered an asset.
• Level 1 (1–3 yrs nuclear experience).

• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, work packages, and specifications is considered an asset.
• Project Exposure: Introductory experience supporting technical or field-based work in construction, manufacturing, or engineering environments. Co-op or apprenticeship experience is considered an asset.
• Nuclear Supply Chain Awareness: Basic awareness of nuclear supply chain and materials handling practices.
• Team Collaboration: Works effectively within a team environment. Willing to learn, follow direction, and share knowledge.
• Personal Accountability and Safety Culture: Follows safety protocols and demonstrates responsibility for quality and compliance.
• Quality Assurance: Understands the importance of quality assurance in regulated environments and adheres to procedures.
• Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Communicates clearly and respectfully. Provides updates and seeks clarification when needed.
