Job Description:
Role and Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, and implements solutions using a mix of off-the-shelf, software-as-a-service,and custom-built software.
• Follows established processes and uses tools and technologies that are consistent with existing solutions, infrastructure, data integrity, security, and support capabilities.
• Creates and maintains documentation of all the designs and solutions.
• Troubleshoots, fixes defects, and extends the functionality of existing systems and applications.
• Contributes to the ongoing development of the team by offering recommendations in the areas of process improvement and innovative technologies.
• Debug production issues and resolve them quickly with permanent fixes.
• Ensures effective integration of software across products, platforms, and environments.
• Oversee various deliverables to ensure intermediate developers are on track.
• Provide assistance and support to intermediate developers.
• Code auditing to ensure standards are being followed.
• Lead a small group of developers.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 12+ years of total software/IT engineering/code development experience.
• Experience in most of the following – Web API (MS ASP.Net), C#, .Net Framework, .Net Core, Web Services, WCF, JSON, SOAP, REST.
• Experience working with Database Systems such as SQL, Oracle, MongoDB.
• Experience working across modern JavaScript front end frameworks (React, Angular).
• CI/CD - Pipeline setup and Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / DevOps.
• Cloud Knowledge – Azure.
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Experience with Software development Methodology like Agile.
• Experience with AgilePoint NX/7 process automation.

• Business acumen (Engineering & Construction Industry an asset).
• Strong technical background.
• Logical, analytical approach to problem solving.
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Must be a team player, energetic with a positive attitude.
• Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills.
• Demonstrates exacting attention to detail.e
