We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Pacific Northwest Rail & Transit Leader - Vice President to join our Kirkland, WA office.

You will work in collaboration with our Regional Rail & Transit Market Lead to develop and implement a Rail & Transit growth strategy for the Pacific Northwest Market. This effort includes creating solutions to deliver our client's most challenging projects and to foster the growth of our Pacific Northwest market.

As a market leader, you are responsible for driving the growth of the Rail & Transit practice to advance our business unit's strategic goals. In this role, you will also be responsible for understanding the unique trends in the market and using that knowledge to create technical differentiation from that of our competitors.

As an experienced member of our team, you will manage our largest and most complicated projects and client services in planning, design and services during construction. In addition to leading projects, you’ll play an integral role in mentoring more junior staff, forming long-term relationships with clients and pursuing new work, including marketing and strategy development.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Business Development: Grow, nurture, and strengthen external relationships with key clients, business partners, and competitors. Drive joint initiatives and use networks to influence and close deals.
• Project Management: Oversee the delivery of complex projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Leadership: Act as a role model and ambassador for the company, representing the brand, vision, and value proposition both internally and externally.
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong networks with clients, manage client accounts, and create a client-centric vision for business development.
• Proposal Development: Lead proposals and business development efforts.
• Innovation and Collaboration: Establish and nurture an innovative, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.

What will you contribute?

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a preference for a master’s degree.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the transportation market.
• Experience in the development of rail infrastructure projects.
• Direct experience with project management and business development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
