About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced Principal Generative AI Engineer/Scientist with over 10+ years of expertise in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. In this role, you will be a key leader within our AI team, driving the development of advanced generative AI models and leading groundbreaking AI initiatives. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the strategy, innovation, and execution of our AI projects, impacting various business domains and driving real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI Strategy and Leadership: Lead the strategic direction of generative AI initiatives, identifying innovative applications and solutions to address complex business challenges.
• Model Design and Development: Architect, develop, and deploy cutting-edge generative AI models (e.g., GANs, Transformers, VAEs) to solve real-world problems and create new AI capabilities.
• Thought Leadership: Act as a thought leader in the AI community, contributing to the development of AI frameworks, methodologies, and best practices within the organization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, domain experts, and stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of generative AI solutions into business operations.
• Mentorship and Team Development: Mentor and guide junior AI team members, fostering a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning within the AI team.
• Research and Innovation: Lead research initiatives to explore and implement state-of-the-art generative AI techniques, keeping the company at the forefront of AI technology advancements.
• Data Strategy: Oversee data collection, preprocessing, and management to ensure the availability of high-quality datasets for training and validating AI models.
• Scalability and Optimization: Optimize the performance, efficiency, and scalability of AI models, ensuring they can be effectively deployed in production environments.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate AI concepts, project progress, and technical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years of experience in machine learning, AI, or data science, with at least 5 years specifically focused on generative AI and deep learning.
• Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with generative models (e.g., GANs, VAEs, transformers) and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and similar technologies.
• Programming Skills: Advanced proficiency in Python and other programming languages relevant to AI, with a solid understanding of data science libraries such as NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.
• Domain Knowledge: Expertise in AI subfields like natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, reinforcement learning, and their application in real-world scenarios.
• Mathematical Foundation: Strong foundation in statistics, linear algebra, probability, optimization, and other mathematical principles critical to AI model development.
• Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading AI teams, managing large-scale projects, and driving AI initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.
• Publication Record: Strong track record of published research in top-tier AI and machine learning journals or conferences.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex problems into structured, data-driven solutions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex AI concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Degree: Master’s in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• Industry Expertise: Experience in applying generative AI in Engineering & Construction industries.
• Patent Development: Experience in patenting AI technologies or contributing to proprietary AI innovations.
• Open-Source Contributions: Active participation in AI open-source communities, contributing to widely used AI libraries or projects.
