To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for the mechanical engineering & preparation of drawings and technical documentation required for the execution of Industrial projects (Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Mission Critical projects – Data Centre) from concept design, FEED design to a detailed level of design.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analysis of regulatory requirement and safety design as per standards.
• Prepare high quality engineering deliverables within agreed timeline.
• Responsible in preparing all drawings document below with the assist from Engineer as minimum.
  • Block Flow Diagram (BFDs).
  • Utility Flow Diagrams (UFDs).
  • Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).
  • Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Assist and collaborate with Process Engineers to develop and optimize process designs, including flow diagrams, equipment layouts, and specifications.
• Ensure all process design documentation is up-to-date and organized, including BFDs, UFDs, PFDs and P&IDs.
• Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings using CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Smart Plant P&ID.
• Ability to design 3D model using SP3D / PDMS / AVEVA E3D / Revit is an added advantage
• Basic knowledge in piping and/or have experience as drawing administrator are also an added advantage.
• Coordinate clash detection management with other discipline.
• Implement changes to process designs based on feedback from Process Engineers and other team members.
• Teamwork and able to support other discipline.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in process design and drafting preferably in Industrial projects.
• Familiarity with engineering design principles and tools (BFDs, UFDs, PFDs, P&IDs).
• Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Experienced in EPCM work environment.
• Experienced in tools and software such as AutoCAD, Smart Plant P&ID, SP3D, PDMS, AVEVA E3D and Revit.
• Familiar with local and international codes and standards related to process design.
• Added value in having past work experience in the multicultural team and hybrid environment.
• Experienced in site installation is added advantage.
• Good communication skills.
