Project Coordinator

Your role within the team:

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Support the Senior Project Manager and project team in planning, executing, and closing projects including coordinating project documentation, schedules, and deliverables across multiple disciplines.
• Track project progress and assist in preparing regular status reports (cost, schedule, scope, quality).
• Assist with resource scheduling and coordination of internal and external team members.
• Facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items.
• Maintain project records and ensure compliance with internal quality management systems (QMS).
• Support procurement and subcontracting processes, including preparation of purchase orders and change requests.
• Assist with monthly forecasting, invoicing, and financial tracking and identify and escalate project risks or issues to the Senior Project Manager.

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum of 3–5 years previous experience as a Project Coordinator supporting major infrastructure / transportation multi-disciplinary projects
• Post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, business or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, team coordination and adaptability in fast paced project environment.
