Faithful+Gould are looking for an Infrastructure Project Director (IPD) in KSA for mega projects.

The IPD will assist in the growth of the business at all stages in the entire procurement cycle of feasibility work, option generation, outline design, and detailed design for Infrastructure projects. They will  link infrastructure inputs from all parts of the business such as highways, utilities, water, transport planning and Master planning, Bridges, Rail, Marine , Aviation, IT and Security, and effectively manage the Infrastructure projects delivery teams.

Requirements

Technical Competencies

Essential 

o            Degree qualified with professional certifications 20 years “hands-on” experience in design and project management in a leadership role, with an Infrastructure bias on mega projects.

o            Competence in English language (Arabic would be advantageous)

o            Currently based in KSA preferred

o            Knowledgeable in computer-aided design

o            Proven track record of successful delivery of major infrastructure projects from concept to detailed design and completion of construction

o            Experience and knowledge of the Middle East market and in particular the bridges, highways and utilities sectors is a distinct advantage

Behavioural competencies

o            Ability to relate and interact successfully with a multi-cultural workforce at all levels is essential

o            High degree of accuracy required.

o            Must be able to work independently with a proactive approach

o            Able to engage in successful client relationships

o            Able to work in a team environment

Key Responsibilities

o            Technical leadership on large multi-disciplinary project delivery

o            Lead single and multi-disciplinary discipline bids, with a clear focus on what is needed to win

o            Continue to build relationships with existing clients, securing repeat business and identifying additional business opportunities

o            Build and motivate a team and demonstrate good leadership qualities

o            Manage and report on project performance

o            Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and ensure that a good Health & Safety culture is engendered within the team

o            Staff recruitment, retention and development making sure staff reach their performance potential

o            Develop a highly motivated and performing team creating opportunities for the development of individuals

o            Provide technical expertise on a variety of large engineering projects

o            Oversee delivery, designs and budgets and drive projects from tender to delivery in a multi-disciplinary environment

o            Increase your networking profile with both internal and external clients

The Individual

o            A confident and articulate communicator with experience of dealing with clients and building strong working relationships

o            Ability to position F+G as a leading partner and supplier through a reputation for technical excellence and quality of delivery on major multidisciplinary projects

o            A high expectation of performance for themselves and other members of the team, coupled with a drive for continuous improvement

o            Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills both verbally and in writing

o            Self-motivated and able to work both independently as well as within a larger multi-discipline team

o            Excellent team player, able to influence technical and delivery staff, and collaborate effectively with other divisional colleagues and with the leadership team

o            Ability to fully engage staff through their alignment with business objectives, promoting involvement, and fostering loyalty
