Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer in our Nuclear and Power business, you’ll enjoy the variety of work in our fast - growing Project Engineering capability assisting a wide variety of exciting nuclear projects including Hinkley Point C (HPC), Sizewell C (SZC), Small Modular Reactors (SMR) and Defence based opportunities. We have a variety of projects available, ranging from design to site-based engineering. This includes AtkinsRéalis delivery projects across Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC and Installation fields.

Your role

• Motivated to apply their skills (and to gain new ones) by becoming involved in exciting opportunities across the nuclear industry.
• Previously experienced or have awareness of the application of engineering practices within safety regulated industries.
• Experience within the nuclear sector is not required – if you have experience applying multi-disciplinary or technical knowledge from other industries which could include Nuclear, Military, Oil & Gas or Marine, we’d love to hear from you.

About you

• Educated to Degree, HND/C, or equivalent qualification level with a Mechanical Engineering or General Engineering background.

Security clearance

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance.  If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.
