Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for review of project drawings and establish RFI-Request for information document.
• Responsible for Quantity take-offs for diverse types of elements as per the method of measurement modes specified.
• Preparing Bill of Quantities throughout the design process including concept, schematic, detail, Tender and Issue for Construction Using various international formats (POMI, CESMM, NRM1/2/3, SMM7, Uni format and Master format etc.) for various types of facilities including commercial, institutional, industrial, residential, hospitality, office buildings and similar facilities, airport facilities, in addition to infrastructure projects.
• Measuring all items related to MEPF works (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection works) works using Costx/AutoCAD drawings as well as BIM/revit model Prepare, review, and generate tender documents including terms and conditions, scope of work, drawings and bill of quantities and specifications.
• Generate cost breakdown and establish unit rates for elements.
• Gather drawings, specifications and related documents and convert to cost estimates/BoQ.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, project teams and other stake holders from various regions produce Bill of Quantities at stipulated time.
• Responsible for quality deliverables.
• Support all activities in preparing comparison statement and assist in generation of technical and commercial evaluation report.
• Provide cost estimates during change process and advise of cost impact of changes.
• Collaboration with Team and effective communication skills.
• Support project meetings and collaborate with team to meet target timelines for deliverables.
• Specialist cost management/quantity surveying consultancies with experience in the construction industry will be advantageous. Experience with cost consulting pre-contracting required.
• Experience towards ME and UK region projects will be advantageous.

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering.
• RICS Chartered membership will be advantageous.
• Proven 04 to 07 Years of experience as Estimation/ Billing engineer.
• Teamwork and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/CostX.
• Good working knowledge of extracting material take off from BIM/ Revit.
• Strong understanding of design principles, construction techniques, building systems, excellent communication, collaboration and critical thinking skills.
