The work of the HR team is key to supporting the business, line managers and employees. The Total Reward team is a global function within the HR team and has a small shared service team based in India which the role will be part of. The team is responsible for providing a consistently great customer experience and making sure services are delivered optimally meeting all policy and compliance requirements. The Shared Services Team also includes responsibility for improvement – how can systems, processes and data be optimised to make the service even better and take a pro-active approach to lead not just respond to the wider team and business requirements.
Requirements:
Role Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for managing a team and contributing as an individual to deliver on our global program and agendas. In this role the incumbent will be required to support with resolution of technical business queries through interpretation and understanding of big data and provide coordination for the design, implementation, and administration of compensation & benefit programs, as a part of a global operations team.
Responsibilities
The role will focus on:
Team Management
- Establishing clear expectations and setting the tone around work ethic within the team. This includes defining performance standards, deadlines, and quality requirements and exhibiting a strong commitment to excellence.
- Providing guidance and support to the team
- Managing team workload ensuring efficient and accurate service delivery
- Upskilling the team, foster team development and engagement by encouraging knowledge sharing and collaboration
Stakeholder Management
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders – regional compensation partners
- Understand regional requirements to drive changes and improvements, to manage expectation and provide regional leads with the necessary support
Process Improvement
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement
