Senior Environmental Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for conducting environmental impact assessment for infrastructure and development projects
• Review reports and deliverables prepared by environmental consultants and assistant consultants
• Manage and develop the technical skills and capabilities of environmental consultants and assistant consultants
• Coordinate and oversees environmental site surveys and inspections
• Involve in the preparation of tender submissions
• Oversee the communication with project teams, clients, and stakeholders for delivery of consultancy work

 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline
• Minimum 4 years’ environmental consultancy experience, with practical experience on noise and/or air quality impact assessment
• Solid experience in using environmental prediction models (such as NoiseMap, RoadNoise, AERMOD etc.) and in design of mitigation measures for infrastructure and development projects
• Membership of HKIQEP (and Air/ Noise Modelling Professional Certification) or similar organization is preferred.
• Experience in using drawing and mapping tools (such as AutoCAD and QGIS) is an advantage
• Self-motivated with positive work attitude and strong sense of responsibility
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work as a team
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Environmental Consultant
