We are seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to join our Transportation team in California!

How will you contribute to the team?

• Under the direction of the project manager, provide the project team project cost estimating during all phases of the projects.
• Preparation of Cost Estimates from the Initiating Phase to the Project Close-Out of all assigned- projects and for all disciplines. 
• In collaboration with company project engineering, responsible for negotiating design modifications (with OE) and construction change orders with contractor. 
• Reviews contractor and consultant cost proposals. 
• Work with Project Manager and Scheduler to develop and refine Integrated Master Schedules. 
• Support Project Managers, as required, to plan projects, resolve issues and provide cost.
• Establish estimating cost standards formats to ensure overall program consistency and cost quality. 
• Support as directed new functions and requirements as a result of Risk Analysis Workshops such as contingency management and cost risk management. 
• Document all Basis of Estimates and Estimate Revisions. 
• Utilizes Document Control to archive current and historical estimates and supporting data utilized in estimate development. 
• Support cost database development, management, and maintenance. 
• Familiar with industry Cost Engineering Standards in addition to the Association for the advancement of Cost Engineering and best practice 46R-11.

What will you contribute?  

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, plus fifteen years relevant experience. 
• Experience in Airport construction projects is desired. 
• Professional Engineer License.
• Certified Estimating Professional.

Expected compensation range is between $126,774 - $211,290 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
