Support and assist regional project management teams to manage and control their documentation of customers and vendors i.e. proposals, product-related issues, and drawings/documents in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out analysis and design of building structures using software like Etabs/SAFE, STAAD.
• Knowledge of Revit will be an advantage.
• Offer support and guidance to junior members of the team.
• Effectively manage own time which may be necessary if allocated to more than one project.
• Check the work of junior engineers in the team.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for the structural elements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience of 8+ years working in a design office, designing building structures.
• Experience of working on Middle East building projects will be an advantage.
• Experience of working on multi-discipline projects.
• Practical experience of reinforced concrete design and RC detailing of reinforced concrete structures, to American codes.
• Preferably also practical experience of structural steel design and detailing of steel structures, to American codes.
• Have a desire to technically lead and collaborate within a technically oriented team.
• Established skill and delivery in the design and analysis of concrete and steel structures, and be familiar with current design standards and working practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A flexible attitude to both the type of work undertaken and the level of responsibility given.
• Flexible approach to work location.
• Have the ability to make decisions and act on your own initiative.
