Atkins are looking for Technical Director (Theme Park) in Riyadh KSA for large mixed-use developments.

JOB SUMMARY: The Technical Director will be responsible for providing drawing reviews and oversight during execution with the vendors. The TD will be responsible for providing reviews of concept feasibility, scope of work development and review/comment drawings for all deliverables, vendor oversight, risk identification and mitigation, field installation strategy, oversight of field test and adjustments. In addition to the safety and technical aspects of the job, budget, schedule, and creative constraints will be incorporated into all decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct engineering contributions to project as required relative to engineering, code and standards compliance, compliance, and technical systems achievement of the creative intent.
Review/approve all Ride/Show drawings/deliverables.
Contributes to the project technical team in assessing and mitigating execution, technical and schedule risks.
Contributes to ADA compliance for Shows and Rides.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Ability to make decisions on the fly and under pressure. Iterate complex technical ideas verbally, written and/or provide visuals and materials. This position will require you to relocate to KSA. (Remote will be allowed for Part-time). You’ll have the right to live, work and drive in KSA and you’ll have an unrestricted right to travel globally.
SCOPE: Non-routine; frequently changing situations. Influences decisions of a major nature. A high degree of tact & diplomacy is required to obtain favorable decisions and good will.
EDUCATION: Associate’s degree (AA) is required in a Technical field. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
10-15 Years required Vendor Management experience with significant in-field installation related experience
15+ years total required related experience.
Theme Park specific experience is highly preferred. Talent, skills and experience will be rewarded with a competitive compensation package.
