Job Summary

A unique opportunity to join SNC-Lavalin’s dynamic Transfer Pricing (“TP”) Team, which serves the group globally. Working as part of a global team, you will be exposed to a broad range of Transfer Pricing topics.

The TP team thrives to deliver results collaboratively to achieve positive impacts on the overall organization. You will grow by exploring and developing knowledge in local TP regulations and participating in a wide-ranged of TP projects, while collaborating internationally with internal clients and external advisors.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Monitor local TP regulations and provide recommendations on documentation requirements;
• Support the Group’s OECD Country-by-Country Reporting process;
• Perform management fees calculations;
• Assist in preparation of annual related party transaction returns (e.g. T106, 5472);
• Collaborate in transformation of tax processes and automation initiatives in the team;
• Prepare and maintain TP documentation (with the support of external consultants, as applicable);
• Assist business units in setting up intercompany service agreements;
• Assist in ad hoc TP projects, or new initiatives;
• Coordinate and manage external consultants in delivering the agreed scope of work.

What will you contribute?

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or other related designation.
• Over 3 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing;
• Strong spoken and writing skills in English;
• Experience of working with ERP systems (i.e Oracle or other ERP systems)
• Ability to support or manage large data gathering processes
• Advanced in Excel; Proficiency in Word and Power point;
• Ability to identify process efficiency opportunities and automation (e.g. Alteryx) would be highly valued;
• Solid skills in research, analysing information, performing quantitative analyses;
• An independent, proactive and intellectually curious transfer pricing professional;
• Strong client orientation;
• Passion to learn about transfer pricing in other jurisdictions in order to provide assistance and advice to internal clients globally;
• Ability to handle numerous files at the same time and be able to work under pressure;
• Good communicator to inform manager/stakeholders of progress on current files or tasks;
• Knowledge of French would be highly valued (but not necessary).
