Water Resources Engineer

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our Water Resources Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Henderson, NV.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the planning, design, and production of engineering drawings.
• Participate in conducting water resources engineering investigations and planning work, including hydrologic and hydraulic models.
• Develop GIS figures and assist in the preparation of drainage reports.
• Research feasibility and alternative design approaches.
• Use technical writing to help prepare specifications, permits applications and reports.
• Assist is preparing man-hour and material cost estimates.
• Produce quality control checks and maintain quality standards.
• Perform engineering calculations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years working in civil engineering.
• EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• SPECIAL SKILLS: Written and verbal communication skills, computing and computational knowledge, ability to perform engineering calculations.
• PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: None at this level.
