What will you do?
- Developing, implementing, and managing the organization's cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
- Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
- Stay up to date on the latest intelligence and industry trends in cybersecurity.
- Comply with all regulatory requirements for cybersecurity.
- Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals in implementing and maintaining security measures.
- Manage incident response efforts and ensure the organization's data and assets are protected.
- Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Collaborating with IT, legal, and business teams to integrate security measures into operational processes.
- Create security documentation, policies, and incident response procedures.
- Ensure all security patches, updates, and upgrades are promptly applied to systems.
- Conduct regular security awareness training for employees.
- Ensure the company's compliance with relevant data protection regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Manage Incident/ Change request aligned with ITIL process.
- Create and maintain weekly/Monthly reports related to cybersecurity tower.
- Maintain the KPI/SLA related to cybersecurity tower.
Experience, Education and other Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience as a Cybersecurity Manager, Information Security Officer, or similar role with at least 5 years in cybersecurity management or leadership
- Extensive knowledge of regional and global cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and CIS Controls.
- Experience in data protection and cybersecurity, including incident management, security incident response frameworks, and disaster recovery planning.
- Experience in IT separation or building Security from scratch for an organization.
- Proficiency in security technologies and tools, including SIEM, firewalls, VPNs, data encryption protocols, and anti-malware solutions.
- Experience in cloud security and working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of GDPR, CCPA, or similar data privacy regulations related to Energy sector.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cybersecurity initiatives.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate data security risks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with IT, legal, and business stakeholders.
- Relevant certification in cybersecurity, such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
- Experience with cloud security, securing hybrid environments, and endpoint protection.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
