Manager / Senior Manager -Cybersecurity

What will you do?

• Developing, implementing, and managing the organization's cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
• Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Stay up to date on the latest intelligence and industry trends in cybersecurity.
• Comply with all regulatory requirements for cybersecurity.
• Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals in implementing and maintaining security measures.
• Manage incident response efforts and ensure the organization's data and assets are protected.
• Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Collaborating with IT, legal, and business teams to integrate security measures into operational processes.
• Create security documentation, policies, and incident response procedures.
• Ensure all security patches, updates, and upgrades are promptly applied to systems.
• Conduct regular security awareness training for employees.
• Ensure the company's compliance with relevant data protection regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
• Manage Incident/ Change request aligned with ITIL process.
• Create and maintain weekly/Monthly reports related to cybersecurity tower.
• Maintain the KPI/SLA related to cybersecurity tower.

Experience, Education and other Required:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience as a Cybersecurity Manager, Information Security Officer, or similar role with at least 5 years in cybersecurity management or leadership
• Extensive knowledge of regional and global cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and CIS Controls.
• Experience in data protection and cybersecurity, including incident management, security incident response frameworks, and disaster recovery planning.
• Experience in IT separation or building Security from scratch for an organization.
• Proficiency in security technologies and tools, including SIEM, firewalls, VPNs, data encryption protocols, and anti-malware solutions.
• Experience in cloud security and working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Strong understanding of GDPR, CCPA, or similar data privacy regulations related to Energy sector.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cybersecurity initiatives.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate data security risks.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with IT, legal, and business stakeholders.
• Relevant certification in cybersecurity, such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
• Experience with cloud security, securing hybrid environments, and endpoint protection.
• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
