Using expertise in Civil Engineering, the role provides leadership and technical guidance across all project phases—from concept to construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Lead Design Engineer, guiding teams in solution development.
• Define and validate technical requirements to meet project needs.
• Provide technical guidance during delivery, commissioning, and handover.
• Ensure compliance with engineering-based regulatory requirements.
• Support the establishment of a Centre of Excellence for Engineering.

Areas of Accountability:

• Deliver technical input into projects.
• Contribute civil expertise to:
  • Asset surveys
  • Plant condition assessments
  • Feasibility studies
  • Optioneering
  • Whole-life costing
  • Preliminary designs
• Provide technical sign-off and assurance during delivery and handover.

Candidate Profile:

We're looking for someone who:

• Is a recognised senior civil engineer with extensive wastewater experience in the water industry.
• Has strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
• Understands the regulatory environment and ensures compliance.
• Has expertise in one or more of the following:
  • Wastewater infrastructure
  • Rising mains
  • Wastewater network hydraulics
  • Infiltration management
  • Construction practices
• Is committed to continuous professional development and mentoring apprentices, graduates, and engineers.

Location & Travel:

• Preferably co-located with the team in GTC India.
• Occasional travel to UK sites required.
