We are looking for a construction project manager with experience with civil and construction experience. If you also have experience from air-insulated or gas-insulated switchgear projects, this is an extra merit.

Role Overview:

The role reports to the Head of Construction and you are part of a growing team consisting of construction project managers, ground and building construction engineers and site managers. In the project you report to the main project manager. Linxon runs projects around Sweden and the role involves some travel.

What will you do?

• Overall responsibility for the project's ground, civil and construction works.

• Contracts designers and leads the design work.

• Supports the sales department in the tendering process.

• Decides on split or general contract set-up.

• Responsible for procurement of subcontractors.

• Handles ongoing contract issues with contractors during the project.

• Has a close collaboration with Linxon's site manager.

Education & Skills Required:

• The role requires post-secondary education, for example in Civil Engineering, Roads and Water or Electric Power.
• Should have experience in leading large construction projects, high-voltage substations or other infrastructure projects.
• Should have good knowledge in EPC turnkey construction law e.g. AB04 and ABT06.
• Should be independent, unpretentious and quality-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills with English (Written and Oral).

Linxon undertakes turnkey electrical alternating current substation projects related to renewable and conventional power generation, power transmission and transportation solutions.
