About Emerge

Emerge is an 18-month program designed to integrate new graduates into our US organization. It offers one-on-one mentoring, formal power-skills training, meaningful and relevant on-the-job experience, and career development opportunities. Emerge fosters a deep and expanding sense of early careers community through regularly scheduled Emerge Connect networking sessions, automatic participation in our Emerging Professionals Network employee resource group, and formal mentoring. The program includes a series of events where leaders speak with participants about their specific business unit or function within AtkinsRéalis, reinforcing a broader understanding of how every individual contributes to engineering a better future for our plant and its people. Whether you have a degree in Civil Engineering, are interested in our Nuclear business, or graduated with a Finance and Accounting degree, Emerge is for you. This experience is not limited to our technical professionals and is open to STEM and business graduates alike.

World-class learning practices suggest that employee development is best obtained through the application of the 70-20-10 model: employees obtain 70% of their learning from experiences and challenging assignments, 20% from interaction with others, and 10% from formal training.

Emerge has been designed to include all three components of this development model, with the majority of development of our new graduates coming from practical and meaningful on-the-job experience.
