Skikda combined cycle power plant
AtkinsRéalis has a strong presence in Algeria’s industrial sector, where we financed, designed, built, and currently operate and maintain two combined-cycle power plants and a desalination plant. We are now responsible for the execution of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs and periodic shutdowns for planned maintenance and refurbishment outages of these plants. Water and electricity are public services that need to be provided without interruption, so we guarantee plant availability and performance 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
Simandou iron ore project
Our extensive environmental assessments at the Simandou Iron Ore Project in the Republic of Guinea will protect biodiversity in critical habitats. For over seven years, we carried out extensive environmental and social baseline surveys and assessments for the Simandou Iron Ore Project. This world-class mining venture is the largest integrated iron ore mine and infrastructure project ever developed in Africa.
Our career markets
From designing end-to-end project solutions to pioneering new technologies and ways of working, everything we do supports our goal of delivering outstanding project outcomes for our clients – no matter the scale, complexity or location of their project.
