Our summer and industrial placement opportunities are now closed. They will open again for applications in Autumn 2024.

In the meantime, you can join our Talent Community to receive emails with tips and advice and to be notified when applications re-open.

You can also sign up to our Connectr platform, where you can connect directly with our early careers mentors who can answer your questions about all things AtkinsRéalis. You’ll also find career guidance, tips, and advice on applying.

Placements

We offer two types of placement to give students the chance to discover more about life inside AtkinsRéalis and get a head start in their careers. You’ll join the minds discovering new ways to answer the world’s biggest challenges, within one of the most respected consultancies.

Summer placements

Available for all degree years, typically lasting at least 8 weeks – just enough time to give you an insight into working life and life inside AtkinsRéalis.

Industrial placements

These longer placements are for students who are able to take a year out and work with an employer. They typically last 12 months and give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in life at AtkinsRéalis.

Taking you further

Each year, our top performing placement students (who’ve done at least 8 weeks on placement with us) have the opportunity to be nominated onto our Graduate Development Programme. If you’re nominated you’ll bypass the standard recruitment process and be offered a place on the programme.
