We are looking for a civil engineer who will take responsibility for civil structural design tasks such as design of concrete/steel structures, preparation of calculation reports and detailed design drawings.

It is advantage to be familiar with civil & structural engineering and design for AIS substations and/or GIS substations in the range of 130kV to 400kV AC substations.

What will you do?

• Perform structural analysis using finite element modelling software such as Staad.Pro, Dlubal RFEM, Strusoft FEM, SAP2000, Etc. and extract static reaction forces and design the respective Concrete foundations according to Eurocode.
• Preparation of Engineering drawings using Autodesk Autocad / Autocad Civil 3D.
• Preparation of bid proposal associated documents such as scope of work, design criteria and functional specifications.
• Contribution in preparation of project estimates, by conducting quantity survey of the engineering drawings.
• Develop 3D model through BIM software’s (Tekla Structures / Revit) for various types of structures, buildings and concrete elements, preparation of bar bending schedules and extract.  
• Conducts site inspections/site visits from time-to-time
• Work with the project lead engineer to develop the Design Criteria and the Document Deliverables list for the project.

Education & Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering, 1 – 3 years related project-based engineering experience with an emphasis on energy/power generation and distribution design, construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation
• Ability to understand client needs and translate into deliverables.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including the proficient use of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
• Excellent written and spoken command in English, Swedish is a plus. Must be able to discuss technical topics with a variety of audiences.
• Strong computer skills in the above-mentioned software and tools.

• Experienced candidates with power distribution and industrial projects background from Swedish design consultancies are highly preferred.
