Here at AtkinsRéalis we are at the heart of delivering transformative projects that are lowering carbon emissions whilst achieving future energy security. Our Power and Energy Solutions Practice is actively involved in projects spanning Power Grids, energy storage (underground natural gas & hydrogen storage caverns), and power and industrial assets.
Your role
- From day one you will be involved in bidding exciting strategic opportunities and transforming our business. Working within our Power and Industrial Market team, you will work collaboratively with the Power and Energy Solutions Practice to deliver our strategic bids and manage our strategic pipeline.
- As a Bid Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the overall bid process. You will guide and motivate a bid team towards the common goal of creating a winning bid submission.
- You will be responsible for developing a bid plan and programme and ensure the submission of a compliant bid response is on time and to budget. You will communicate with the bid team and wider team to ensure that everyone who needs to be aware is aware, and that the tender requirements are fully understood by the team.
- Managing the overall bid process, programme and budget, working under direction of the Bid Director.
- Ensuring AtkinsRéalis' internal governance processes are followed (e.g. stage gate reviews, risk reviews, bid governance and approval requirements).
- Engaging with Client Director / Account Manager to gather market and client intelligence.
Working with Bid Director and Commercial Manager to define commercial strategy and manage commercial risks. - Supporting Client and Bid Director to gather market intelligence and develop the winning strategy.
