What will you do?

• Monitors and attends to project site and facility office accounting concerns.
• Maintains general ledger accounts and prepare monthly journal entries.
• Timely submission of client invoices with all the required supporting documents.
• Manages the petty cash funds, ensure cash receipts are properly recorded with authorized approval.
• Monthly reconciliation of outstanding receivables.
• Monitoring of monthly tax compliance.
• Assists in preparing monthly reporting and audit requirement.
• Records and maintains schedules for all prepayments, accruals, provisions, monthly rent & other expenses and make necessary adjusting entries.
• Prepares analysis and reports as per management requirements on project costs.
• Prepares related parties' invoices and reconciling their balance.
• Prepares bank reconciliation for all the accounts and corporate credit cards.
• Prepares suppliers payments on time with clear reconciliation statements.
• Reviews and Recording of Accounts Receivable and payable transaction.
• Maintains assigned digital and physical financial records.
• Performs other related task assigned by the Business Controller

Experience, Education and other Required:

• Master's'in accounting and finance or similar qualification. Certified Public Accountant ( CPA) preferred and an added advantage.
• Should have at least 3-year experience as a project accountant, or similar. Work experience in the construction or engineering industry is an advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in managing general ledgers, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Should have extensive experience in FS preparation, consolidation of data, and analysis of different GL accounts.
• Excellent communication skills toward effective collaboration and client services.
• Able to work with tight deadline.

Competencies/ Skills Required:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of best practices in accounting.
• Knowledgeable in MS Office 365 - Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Outlook.
• Working knowledge on ERP systems such as Oracle or ACCPAC.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Excellent communicator by delivering directions from top down to the rest of organization.
• Willingness to deliver ad hoc tasks as and when required.
