Overview
We are seeking a Field Planning Engineer to join our teamin New Albany, OH. Our team is growing! If you want to be a part of a successful global organization, we would like to connect with you. This is a full-time position with AtkinsRealis that comes with the opportunity to prove your true potential, provide expert services on world class projects, and collaborate and grow with professional services experts. This role is based at our client's Data Center project site inNew Albany, OH.
Your role
- Support the Planner with Last Planner System tasks.
- Support the Planner with determining component counts.
- Manage the visual management process for their assigned area of work (set up visuals, monitor and communicate).
- Monitor progress and highlight constraints or opportunities to planner.
- Collect daily field progress incl. component counts and resources, and feed updates to schedulers.
- Collaborate with site superintendents, the planner and the scheduling team to ensure effective integration of tasks, communicating potential impacts / constraints and opportunities.
- Monitor implemented processes for continuous improvement, and communicate gaps or opportunities to relevant stakeholders for action.

About you
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent and 1 to 2 yrs experience, or 5 yrs equivalent experience.
- Critical thinker who is able to identify issues, opportunities and convey them effectively.
- Familiar with and capable of using technology such as Windows Office Suite, incl. Teams and Sharepoint.
- Effective communicator with proven people skills.
- Local candidates are preferred, but a travel package will be available to the right candidates if out of the area.
Preferred Experience:
- 10 hour OSHA certificate.
- Data Center knowledge (electrical / connectivity).
- Power BI and DAX.
