Our Regina Materials Testing Laboratory is currently seeking an enthusiastic, individual to join our growing team. We are looking for applicants for a permanent full-time position. How will you contribute to the team?
- Sample preparation
- Conducting various tests in accordance with ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) and CCIL (Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories) on various construction materials such as, soil, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt
- Entering test data
- Cleaning and maintenance of laboratory testing equipment
- Possible travel and overtime
- Involvement in our Health and Safety Program (OH&S, organize weekly lab meetings, nuclear densometer documentation)
- Batch and Invoice entries
- Supervision of the testing program
What will you contribute?
- Civil Engineering Technology Diploma or other certificate/diploma will be given preference
- 8 to 10 years of testing / lab experience in concrete, asphalt, soils and aggregates
- CCIL Certification will be given preference
- A self -starter who is dedicated and motivated with well -developed interpersonal, organizational, and team skills
- Attention to detail and problem solving
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a team environment
- Valid Saskatchewan class 5 driver’s license
- Knowledge of MS Office suite would be considered an asset
