We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our accounting team in Miami, Tampa or Orlando, FL.
The Financial Analyst, FP&A, plays a critical role in preparing and analyzing key financial reports for US leadership. This position offers a broad perspective of the company’s objectives and challenges, providing an opportunity to work with employees at all levels of the organization. The role involves preparing financial analyses that directly influence senior management decision-making, providing strategic insights into the company’s financial health and performance.

How will you contribute to the team?
- Management Reporting: Assist in the preparation and delivery of internal financial reports to US leadership, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of key financial performance metrics and other critical data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with both the local US finance team and the global corporate team based in Montreal, ensuring alignment and consistency in financial reporting and analysis.
- Data Management: Develop and maintain financial reports and forecasting models to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial information presentation.
- Financial Analysis: Consolidate financial data and conduct comprehensive analyses, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting. Investigate and explain variances between actuals and budget/forecast.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform financial analyses and special projects as needed. Support business decision-making with detailed and accurate financial information, actionable insights and recommendations based on your findings.
- Process Improvement: : Identify opportunities for process enhancements within the FP&A function, recommending and supporting the implementation of best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
What will you contribute?
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in financial data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Position requires strong technical accounting skills and understanding of IFRS.
- Candidate must be able to work in Microsoft office (Excel, Workd, Outlook, Power Point).
- Experience with Oracle, HFM, PBCS, or similar financial systems is an asset.
- CPA qualification is considered a valuable asset.
