Role Summary

We are looking for a Quality Compliance Manager to join our new Sydney office. This role will oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of our internal systems, accreditations and standards, including overseeing the local HSEQ function to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote a proactive government culture through the company’s operations in Australia.

This is a newly created role, which will see you collaborating with our team, on a local and more broadly global scale to define the business systems requirements and architecture. You will also be a part of the regional team responsible for developing and implementing these systems.

Ultimately, your role will involve overseeing and maintaining accreditations and our business systems, ensuring compliance through audits and training, as well as assisting to achieve any accreditations under new standards.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Guide and support project leaders and senior management in understanding and implementing organisational requirements comprehensively.
  • Manage, review and enhance in-house governance policies and procedures required to effectively manage compliance particularly in reference to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards.
  • Assist in the implementation and oversight of the Global HSE Management System (GHSEMS) and BlueBook standards.
  • Assist in conducting regular audits for projects and office environments, supporting the business to address findings and manage corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure ongoing accreditation to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the company’s values, promoting best practices in corporate governance and compliance. 
     

Desired Skills, Experience and Capabilities

  • Demonstratable experience in identifying business system needs and architecture
  • Experience developing and implementing governance systems
  • Understanding of office HSEQ requirements
  • Applied knowledge of operational Management Systems and quality tools.
  • A consultative approach and ability to partner with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ideally some construction experience and an understanding of construction processes
