Requirements
Essential
Qualified Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed institute
Have relevant experience in the region of around 8 to 12 years in consultancy business working on highways and related features
Experienced user of MX design, AutoCAD and AASHTO
Experience implementing quality standards and procedures
A very good knowledge of working in all applications of MS Office.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Evidence of having successfully delivered highway projects
Desirable
Holds a Masters Degree in a relevant discipline
Expert in the use of MX road design software and AutoCAD
Experience of using AutoDesk Civils 3D for the design of highway schemes
Experience of the design of grade separated junctions
Experience of the design of pipe drainage networks
Working knowledge of UK highway design standards
Responsibilities
You will be an engineer within the highways team, carrying out the design and checking a range of elements associated with highway projects. You will be responsible for:
Project-based supervision of designers and drafting staff
Maintaining technical quality standards and mentoring junior designers
Delivering projects on time and budget
Liaising with UK/ ME-based customers in a responsive and client-focused manner
