We're the practice which helps our clients with innovative design, research and advisory services for a sustainable future. As one of the team, you'll work on a variety of projects, from airports to reservoirs, motorways to campuses, ensuring they're safe, eco-friendly, and safeguard our natural resources.

Town Planning

Degree requirements: Minimum 2.2 Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in Town Planning, Geography, Economics, Politics, Environment, Law or similar.
Locations: Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, London, Manchester, Sheffield and Warrington.

Our Town Planning team is one of the UK’s leading planning consultancies, working across the UK and on overseas economic development projects. We’re at the forefront of thought-leadership in planning and delivery of infrastructure and development, Net Zero, Social Value, Biodiversity Net Gain and the use of digital data to support our work.

We provide integrated solutions to the planning challenges faced by public and private sector clients at all stages of the planning cycle from policy formulation to consenting and project delivery. As a graduate, you'll enjoy variety within your role and help us to deliver outstanding projects; you could be helping to identify development opportunities, undertaking site assessments and feasibility, or preparing development frameworks to guide sustainable economic growth in the UK and overseas, you could also be supporting the preparation of planning applications for sustainable new communities, schools or major infrastructure, as well as providing economics, consultation and sustainability services to our clients. Some of our projects are key case studies in the Digital Task Force for Planning Report 2022, recognised for their contribution towards a digital future for spatial and environmental planning. What you’ll need?

  • A keen interest in planning and delivering transformative and high-quality infrastructure and communities
  • A passion for, and understanding of, a consultancy environment
  • Enthusiasm to drive your own career development and a motivation to learn
  • Be curious in your thinking and apply your technical knowledge to analyse problems and create innovative solutions
  • Drive and determination to achieve professional accreditation
  • An ability to adapt to the changing world of work, embracing new technology and agile ways of workin
  • Ability to demonstrate relationship building skills which you’ll use with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Confidence to work on your own initiative as well as being part of a multidisciplinary team

Meeting your needs
