Software Graduate Scheme - Transportation

Our work spans the full transport ecosystem, across Bridges & Civils, Highways, Rail, Central Rail Systems Alliance, and local transport projects. Requirements: Minimum 2.2 Bachelors or above in Computer Science, Maths, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, IT, Software Engineering, Control & Systems Engineering, Information Technology and Communications, or any other Engineering based degrees with software programming content.

Locations:  Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Epsom

We are investing in our ‘Digital Future’ with a specific programme across AtkinsRéalis. You will be part of the Digital Products and Data team within our engineering digital practice, embedding you directly in our projects and collaborating with other digital teams from the UK and internationally.

You will have the opportunity to be involved with:

  • Working with coding languages and technologies such as C#, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
  • Developing web applications using frameworks like Angular, React, Flask, and Blazor.
  • Designing and manage databases using SQL and integrate with Azure Data Services.
  • Applying Agile methodologies and DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Automating workflows and integrate with engineering applications through APIs using Python and PowerShell.

You will be expected to have regular interactions with clients and key stakeholders and will need to assist colleagues in delivering specific digital project outputs. You could be; coding automation tools for our design teams, working with data science AI models or helping our teams and clients marshal their project BIM data - all supporting our people with digital transformation!
