AtkinsRéalis, Balfour Beatty and Egis Road Operations UK are part of a consortium, creating Connect Plus Services, a unique partnership with a collective strength in highways asset care from finance, through to design, build, maintenance as well as day to day operation.
As part of our 30-year remit to manage and improve the capital’s orbital motorway network, we deliver major improvement projects, such as widening 38 miles of the M25, refurbishing tunnels and bridges, and installing hundreds of variable messaging signs and gantries, helping to maximise the use of the network and deliver more reliable journeys. We also manage the Dartford River crossing and operate and maintain 440 kilometres of motorway providing our customer and road user with a world-class highway service.

Role Purpose:
- The role will be working in the Procurement and Supply Chain Management team, within the commercial division of Connect Plus Services.
- Support to the function to provide reporting, analysis and support to the wider business on all elements of the supply chain will be required alongside building relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Using the Jaggaer digital system and others, detailed analysis and reporting is to be provided monthly to monitor and understand the performance of the supply chain, agreeing collaborative action plans to improve performance.
- Financial and compliance reporting and analysis trends will also be required whilst developing the supply chain processes.
- CPS requires the supply chain team to embed a high-performance culture and effectively manage strategic relationships. Support to be provided to the team to deliver CPS initiatives and policies including health, safety, wellbeing, environment, and sustainability to ensure a high performing collaborative supply chain.
Accountabilities:
- Undertake comprehensive market analysis (e.g. supply chain mapping, RFIs, PQQs, supplier visits/audits, behavioural assessments) to link back to our aims and objectives in relation to our procurement approach which focuses on capacity, capability, competence and value alignment.
- Work collaboratively with all internal teams to ensure that the supply chain has the best chance to deliver against agreed objectives.
- Meet and coordinate with scoring teams to ensure 100% scorecard completion and integrity of scoring.
- Update supply chain performance dashboard sharing a monthly update for CPS.
- Ensure the supply chain understand the relevant scoring mechanisms.
- Conduct supply chain performance data analysis to develop insight and identify opportunities to improve.
- Meet and coordinate with strategic supply chain on agreed schedule.
- Work alongside suppliers in a collaborative and efficient way, creating a mutually beneficial working environment.
- Collate 360 feedback from supply chain to embed continuous improvement to ensure and highlight areas for CPS to improve performance.
- Encourage a transparent and collaborative review of performance, forward planning, innovation, and value.
- Drive a collaborative reduction alongside our supply chain in risks and waste.
- Develop strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Support embedment of sustainable procurement.
- Support the implementation of the SRM plan throughout CPS and Highways.
- Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm.
- Undertake Modern Slavery Audits.
- Implement & develop processes for supply chain management including material purchasing.
- Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with the company policies and processes.
- Ensure that necessary interface information between customer, supply chain and other departments is provided in a timely manner.

- Excellent Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel and Word.
- Power BI Experience would be an additional bonus.
