We are seeking a Piling Manager who will oversee the creation of multiple forms of editorial content to enhance understanding, awareness and drive strong positive engagement for THE LINE at NEOM. This position will work with teams across the organization to identify and tell inspiring stories that illustrate the exceptional work being delivered on THE LINE at NEOM, how it will transform the built environment sector, and the work being delivered to lead the way on issues like sustainability, health & safety, and digitalization. 

Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Senior Content Manager will propose, draft and edit a wide range of material, including op-eds, success stories, research summaries, e-newsletters, and marketing materials. This position is responsible for maintaining THE LINE’s intranet and stakeholder engagement materials.  

As a key member of the Communications team, the role holder will have ample creative autonomy, and will be a keen collaborator to unlock ideas and new ways of doing things

Job Title: The Piling Manager

Location: NEOM (Remote) - KSA

Job Summary: The Piling Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of piling operations within the NEOM project. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in geotechnical engineering, foundation construction, and project management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering piling projects within budget and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans for piling operations, considering project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with the project management team to integrate piling activities into the overall construction schedule.

Technical Expertise:

  • Provide technical expertise in geotechnical engineering and foundation construction to ensure the successful execution of piling activities.
  • Review and approve piling designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Resource Management:

  • Manage and allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal project performance.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to source high-quality materials and equipment for piling operations.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that piling activities meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of safety on the construction site.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate a team of piling engineers, supervisors, and operators to achieve project goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering professional development and continuous improvement.

Client Communication:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns, and providing regular project updates.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address any changes or modifications to the piling scope of work.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare regular progress reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, resource utilization, and any issues encountered.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience 20 years in managing piling operations on large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and foundation construction techniques.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
