AtkinsRéalis’ is in search of a Project Procurement Manager to join our team in Toronto, Ontario.

Your role within the team:

• Responsible for GEH scope of Supply for BWRX-300 project fabrication activities, any required qualification, completion of witness/hold points, all required vendor records and certifications, logistics/shipping, on-site handling, and technical services associated with installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate & chair regular project meetings with customer teams, internal team, and/or supplier teams; preparing supporting materials as required.
• Interface with owner and constructor on all aspects of equipment supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning and interact effectively with multiple levels of the functional team from Engineering, Procurement, logistics and Quality to build consensus on commercial, technical, and compliance issues.
• Expedite the review of all contracts technical deliverables to ensure the intended turnaround time.
• Manage cost and schedule and ensure Supplier invoicing is accurate and timely.

The ideal candidate:

• 7 to 10 years of practical experience in a similar role and diploma or degree in a related field is required
• Demonstrated ability in standard procurement procedures and practices, along with knowledge of the construction processes by which engineering projects are undertaken.
• Developed knowledge of procurement processes, systems, techniques, sourcing strategy, supplier management and contract management.
• Experienced in preparing and issuing reports and relevant documentation, with comprehension of contractual Terms and Conditions in conjunction with established procurement policies.
• Exceptional verbal and written English language communication skills.
• Working towards or attaining certification with relevant organizations such as IoSCM, APICS, PMAC or similar, along with proficient skills in use of MS Office products such as, Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint, knowledge of Project ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc.) is an asset
