This role will be based in Pickering, ON.

Your role within the team:

• Support projects by creating various reports; Weekly, Monthly, quarterly and annual.
• Provide regular reports on project cost status and cost deviations.
• Provide regular reports on project time accumulation, analyze budget variances.
• Provide input to client reporting as per contract requirements, or support input to alliance reporting per contract requirements.
• Prepare project monthly report.
• Special assignments, ad hoc reports and other related duties as required.
• Work with Procurement to help assess procurement and subcontractor progress. Create reports and burn-down curves.

The ideal candidate:

• Possess post-secondary education i.e. diploma or degree B.A., B.Sc., B.Eng., B.Com, PMP, AACE, or possess equivalent relevant industry experience in senior roles within project controls and or project management. Nuclear experience.
• 7+ years of relevant Project cost and reporting l experience, Proficient in MS office suite of software, especially in Microsoft Excel.
• Thorough knowledge of Power BI and other project management softwares.
• Demonstrate problem solving abilities, including the ability to learn new software as per the company standards.
• Knowledge of project management techniques including hands on experience applying on large projects. progress measurement and earned value techniques, analyzing data, and complex project reporting.
• Good knowledge of the general project controls policies and procedures.
• Strong communication, report writing and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details are required.
• Ability to work well with Clients and Alliance partners.
• Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
• Effective problem-solving and analytical skills with a results-oriented approach.
