Linxon UK is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Tendering Manager to lead and oversee the preparation of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) proposals in the Power Transmission sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire tendering process, from initial enquiry to contract award, ensuring that all proposals are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives. This role will also involve mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continuous improvement of the tendering process.

What will you do?

• Lead and oversee the preparation and submission of EPC proposals for power transmission projects in the UK.
• Coordinate with various departments, including engineering, procurement, project management, and finance, to gather necessary information and inputs for proposals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure competitive and compliant proposals.
• Analyse tender documents and identify key requirements and risks.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, schedules, and technical proposals.
• Ensure that all proposals are compliant with client requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
• Present proposals to senior management and clients, and participate in negotiations and contract discussions.
• Monitor and report on the status of ongoing tenders and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, providing training and support as needed.
• Continuously improve the tendering process and develop best practices for future proposals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive years of experience in tendering or proposal management in the power transmission sector.
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracts and the power transmission industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
