We are seeking a Sr. Strategic Pursuits Creative Advisor to join our team in Dallas, TX. The Sr. Strategic Pursuits Creative Advisor will work closely with the capture and proposal leadership and staff, Business Unit (BU) staff, and BU and Regional Business Development and Strategy (BD&S) staff on prepositioning efforts related to Strategic Pursuits.

How will you contribute to the team?

  • Develop early design concepts of proposal layout and content based on team discussions and client needs.

  • Work closely with the team to understand complex technical concepts to formulate a strategy for engaging and informative multimedia content.

  • Support multimedia designers to implement agreed upon vision into user friendly proposal and presentation layout files.

  • Lead and facilitate “creative design briefs” with the team and collaborate in all areas of the proposal and presentation process.

  • Build in consistent design elements to provide quality throughout media production.

  • Ensure that all multimedia content meets the firm’s quality standards and brand guidelines, including accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

  • Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touchpoints, not compromising compliance specified by procurement documents.

  • Conduct Adobe Creative Suite training or support staff with any tips, tricks, or enhanced processes to make production easier and quicker.

  • Participate in pursuit strategy sessions, kick-off meetings, document review meetings, as appropriate.

  • Complete internal quality reviews on layout, photography, and graphics at pink, red, and gold

  • Develop efficient ways to build proposal designs that creates speed and accuracy for a faster turnaround.

  • Support the Global Technology Center designer(s) to provide direction on standard workload like proposal to presentation migration.

  • On a pursuit-specific basis, brainstorm sessions with the team to develops multimedia content such as videos, animations, and interactive presentations to support the firm’s pursuit strategies.

  • Lead, plan, and organize projects involving specific creative digital media functions, including video and photo shoots.

  • Conduct headshot photoshoots for pursuits and resumes. Available if pursuit workload allows. If not, vets, coordinates, and directs local photographer.

  • Coordinate with local drone operators if requiring drone footage for pursuits.

  • Support the editing/development of video media for client presentations.

  • Provide thought leadership on the latest multimedia trends and technologies to drive innovation and a competitive advantage.

  • Work simultaneously on 5+ projects based on current client workload.

  • Juggle multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and expectations to ensure mutual deadlines are met.

  • Champion the processes and practices within the broader organization.

  • Perform such assignments and duties as the Supervisor may deem necessary from time to time.

What will you contribute?

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, journalism or related major, and 10 years of relevant experience. Requires a thorough understanding of the tools and techniques employed in marketing, advertising, web, and graphic design as well as the ability to take a hands-on role to deliver day-to-day activities in these disciplines. Must be able to think strategically and effectively articulate ideas. An understanding of specific technologies and/or processes related to production of communications materials is also required. An understanding of the engineering sector is desirable.

  • Requires excellent research, coordination, and interpersonal skills, as well as an understanding of multi-media and graphic arts; must have effective communication skills both orally and in writing; ability to understand the strategy, values and culture of the company and apply that understanding to support the marketing, sales and strategy, and growth goals of the company. Must be proactive, deadline driven, organized, and detailed-oriented.
